About Me
Hello, my name is Yuge Wang. I grew up in Hangzhou, a city in eastern China well known for its beautiful lake. I graduated from college in 2009 and worked for six years at a large state-owned commercial bank before spending seven years as an assistant professor at a teaching-focused college. In 2022, I began my doctoral studies at the University of Georgia, where I am now a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in political science and international affairs, specializing in comparative politics with a minor in political methodology.
Outside of academics, I enjoy reading history, watching movies, hiking, and playing tennis with my wife. Neither of us is particularly skilled at tennis, and we often end our games by losing track of the balls.
